FOOD & BEER Pairing with High Brau Taphouse

Pellegrini is pairing up with High Brau Taphouse on December 4th from 6 - 9 pm to host a special gourmet tasting and Colorado select craft beer event – two local businesses joining forces to host an unforgettable evening of food, drink and friendship.

For a $40 advance ticket purchase, diners will enjoy a five-course tasting meal prepared by Chef Carlo Pellegrini and a 5-flight taster of Colorado's finest craft brews selected by Rob Baumgartner and Ben Harmelink, High Brau Taphouse Owners and Cicerone certified beer servers. Carlo and Rob will be on hand to talk to diners about the fine food and beer selections.

Antipasti selections:

Bruschetta - Grilled crostini bread with a butternut squash mascarpone cream spread topped with pan-fried pancetta, drizzled with estate grown cold pressed olive oil

Polpette - Locally raised ground lamb and pork meatballs prepared with minced garlic, grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, and Italian bread crumbs bathed in tomato-basil Marinara sauce

Entree selections:

Pasta - Pellegrini's home-made fresh casarecce pasta sauteed with arugula pesto cream sauce and tossed with chunks of fresh Verlasso salmon and zucchini

Protein - Home-made Italian sausage prepared "pizziaola-style" with tomato, capers and sauteed bell pepper

Dolce:

Panna Cotta - Thickened vanilla cream custard topped with fresh berries, mint and raspberry glace'
